UPSC CDS II Recruitment 2025:The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (II), 2025. This recruitment drive offers 453 vacancies for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) for courses commencing in 2026. The application process is open from 28 May 2025 to 17 June 2025. The CDS II written exam will be held on 14 September 2025

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian citizen
• Educational Qualification:
  • IMA & OTA: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • INA: Degree in Engineering
  • AFA: Bachelor’s degree (with Physics & Mathematics at 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering
• Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026):
  • IMA: Unmarried male, born 2 July 2002 – 1 July 2007
  • INA: Unmarried male, born 2 July 2002 – 1 July 2007
  • AFA: 20–24 years, born 2 July 2002 – 1 July 2006
  • OTA (Men): Unmarried male, born 2 July 2000 – 1 July 2006
  • OTA (Women): Unmarried women, issueless widows/divorcees, born 2 July 2000 – 1 July 2006

• SC/ST/Female: Nil
