Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan:The News

Eminent tribal representatives in a delegation under the ‘Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan’ of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs recently called on the President of India. This program is formed to empower the tribes, protect their constitutional rights/ safeguards and provide for tribe-based development.

The meeting is the first in a series of consultations to be organized across the country to include tribal voices in policy formulation.

 About Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan

  • The scheme has been rolled out by: Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
  • Objectives: To strengthen participation, knowledge and access to rights among tribal communities.
